Inspired By: Three Times

Three Times is made up of three short films revolving around two characters. The first part (and the only one I watched so far) is a languid love story, a waltz of innocent courtship between Shu Qi and Chang Chen. While I enjoyed the slow, budding romance (shot in the most mesmerizing manner) between those impossibly cheekboned two, I ended up more enamored with the colors in the film instead. Even before the short ended, my fingers were already itching to do an "inspired by" post.

Not Pictured: Chanel Rouge Allure Laque #79, Giorgio Armani Waterproof Smooth Silk Eye Pencil #1

I applied the white shade from Suqqu Ginbudou in the inner corners of the eyes and below the brow bone, and swept the green shade from LMdB Pallid Incandescents all over the lid. I lined my eyes with Armani Eye Pencil #1 (limited for fall) and layered it with the dark green shade in Chanel Lilium, then lined the bottom lash line with the gold shade from Ginbudou. To finish the eyes, I swept a couple coats of mascara over lashes.

Chanel Brumes d'Or (this method) on cheeks and Chanel Rouge Allure Laque #79 blended out with a finger on lips.
