I realized I posted this on my Twitter account but not on the blog, and it's quite imperative that everyone knows before it's too late. Temptalia tweeted this news some time ago and while there was some misinformation flying around after, she finally confirmed it:
Needless to say, the beauty community was devastated. When news broke, Nordstrom was immediately backordered on Dragon. The Boston Neiman Marcus was already out of stock of it when I checked yesterday. Currently, you can still get all shades from the Chanel website, but do know Dragon, at least, is going fast. Everyone is scrambling around to stock up on their favorite shades. I'm not the "backup" kind of girl, but I did purchase two, and have immediate plans to try out the rest to make sure I won't be missing anything when they're gone.
I have no words for why Chanel would choose to discontinue (in my opinion) their best lip formula.
that is such a shame... I have Ming and Santal and I love them =( Now I feel like I should buy Dragon to see what I'm missing out on haha I know it's pretty for sure!

ReplyDeleteUGHHHH, so sad to hear this news. I've had Ming and Dragon for a while now and have recently rediscovered what wonderful lip products they are. I just got brave enough to wear red lippies too and Dragon is my favorite. I'm not a backup girl either, but these are definitely getting backed up.
